Carpentry Apprenticeship Programme 2016

Our client are currently offering a Carpentry Apprenticeship Programme 2016 for 5 candidates who have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in the construction and finishing carpentry industry. They are offering a monthly stipend of R 4,500pm so this would benefit students from the area who have their own family support infrastructure. This learnership is a structured learning programme that leads to a recognised national qualification. The Carpentry Apprenticeship programme includes a theoretical and a practical component.

Requirements:

Be a minimum age of 17 years old, (Up to 35 years old)
Enjoy working with hands,
Be a neat and accurate worker,
Be able to measure and calculate accurately,
Have a genuine interest in woodwork and interest in pursuing a career in the construction and finishing carpentry industry,
Enjoy working with others,
Excellent health and strength;
Minumum Grade 10 high school certificate or N1
Preferably Grade 12 (with Maths and Science) or any technical trade theory (N2 and above)
Drivers license desireable but not essential
