External ICT Solutions Sales Consultant

We are a leading IT Service Provider specialising in Citrix Desktop and Application Virtualisation Solutions, including ADC, SD-WAN and Cloud Solutions, with almost two decades in business.  We are looking for a dynamic, reliable and trustworthy External ICT Solution Sales Consultant who is well-motivated and results driven. The candidate must have solid IT knowledge and experience in selling the abovementioned ICT Solutions, including Data Center, Networking, Storage, Server, Security, and Microsoft enterprise solutions.

The candidate will be required:

To ensure that the allocated GP target is met or exceeded on a continuous basis

To build profitable solution sales and services to new and existing Enterprise customers, including government institutions
To coordinate and build customer solutions
To build new and manage existing customer relations

To compile and distribute business communication to customers in line with policies on a continuous basis
To contribute and advise on sales plans

To ensure that the sales policy and procedures are followed with every potential and existing transaction on a continuous basis
To manage customer accounts and portfolios on a continuous basis

To generate new leads on a continuous basis
To ensure that all allocated and agreed development activities are successfully completed
To develop a potential customer database
To attain margin targets as agreed to with management
To provide punctual and accurate reporting with regards to forecasting/visitation reports.
To ensure that customers are always well informed about new products and services
To investigate and achieve new avenues of revenue
To organise and facilitate any potential demonstrations as required by the customers

Requirements of applicants:

Matric

English (Write and Speak)
Diploma in sales or business
At least 3 years’ experience in a Business Development/Sales/Account Management role in ICT Solutions, accompanied by a proven track record of achievement against an individual sales target.

A solid understanding of the business drivers that influence customer decisions in Desktop Virtualisation Solutions, ADC, SD-WAN and Cloud arena.
Professional presentation skills

Excellent computing skills
Negotiation skills
Customer relationship building skills

Additional requirements for the job:

Own reliable vehicle
Drivers’ license
Travelling to customers (mostly in Gauteng)

Occasional after-hours work
