R4500 – R5500 Basic & Commission

Insurance Cold Calling Agent available in Ballito in a Call centre supporting Financial Advisors.

This is a contract position. A basic salary between R4500 & R5500 per month is offered with a commisson structure based on appointments booked & conducted by the Financial Advisor team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage large amounts of outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Follow communication scripts when speaking to potential clients
  • Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way
  • Meet personal / team qualitative and quantitative targets
  • Identify and overcome objections
  • Possess strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively
  • Persuade potential customers to accept a face to face appointment with a Financial Advisor
  • Strong telephone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Experience & Exposure to the Insurance Industry in a similar role (Non-Negotiable)
  • Skilled in finding and researching for new leads via the internet & social media
  • Proficient English and Afrikaans speaker

Qualifications

Matric – Minimum

Completed FAIS regulatory exams (RE1 or RE5) or some Insurance Credits would be a great advantage

Other Skills

Proficient in relevant computer programs (Word, Excel, Powepoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer)

Knowledge of customer service principles & practices

Proven Track record in sales Knowledge of call centre telephony & technology

Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening

Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively

Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types

Familiarity with CRM systems and practices

Track record of over-achieving quotaExperience & Exposure to the Insurance Industry in a similar role – Non Negotiable
