Plumbing Apprenticeship 2016
Area – Midrand, Gauteng

Our client are currently offering a apprenticeship programme for 12 candidates. Applicants must be fit and healthy and committed to their Apprenticeship based in the Midrand area. The successful applicants will gain practical experience in a busy plumbing environment with a mix of domestic and commercial projects, working a minimum of 40 hours each week, this will be supported by formal study with a Registered Training Organisation. The Plumbing Apprenticeship program will benefit local students who will be able to stay at home with their families during their training period, incurring lower costs than if they had to travel to another institution. Stipend R 4,500pm.

Selection Criteria:

Completed Minimum N3 trade theory,
Must be able to work in a team environment, be honest, reliable and hard working,
Enthusiastic and Passion for learning and developing new skills within the plumbing industry,
A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment,
A commitment to learning towards and completing a trade in plumbing,
Excellent organisation and communication skills,
Self motivated with a good attitude to work and training,
Drivers Licence desireable,
Under 35 years of age,
Male and Female are encouraged to appply !

Panel Beater & Spray Painter Apprenticeship
Area – Boksburg

Our client is a well-respected company located in Boksburg. They specialise in vehicle smash repair. You will be working from Monday to Friday between 8am-4.30pm. At the end of your Apprenticeship, you will have completed a National Certificate in Automotive Body Repair endorsed by SAMBRA. They are offeribg a Stipend of R 4,500pm. All training, courses and certification will be paid for by the client.

Requirements:

Minimum Grade 10 with Math,
Preferable Grade 12 with Math or N2,
18 – 28 yers old,
Must enjoy hard physical work and be genuinely interetsed in pursuing a career in this industry as well as obtaining a trade in this industry,
Punctual, reliable, enthusiastic and committed,
Code 8 Drivers licence desireable,

An outstanding Chef Apprenticeship opportunity has become available and is ideal for recent School leavers who are wanting to start at an entry level position and pursue a career in the Hospitality Industry. You will learn excellent basic to advanced skills and work in a well, organised and professional team. This full time role comprises of mainly weekday work with the occasional evening / weekend shift. You will also be studying towards a Diploma in Food Preparation and Cooking. R 5,000 pm. All costs associated with training and couses will be covered by the company.
Requirements:

Have a passion for food and for recipes, love food and creating meals,
Must be able to work long and often unsociable hours in highly stressful conditions,
Able to cope with hot, busy and ofetn stressful kitchens and having to focus all the time in order to complete every task to the highest degree of excellence,

Carpentry Apprenticeship Programme 2016

Area – Germiston, Gauteng

Our client are currently offering a Carpentry Apprenticeship Programme 2016 for 5 candidates who have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in the construction and finishing carpentry industry. They are offering a monthly stipend of R 4,500pm so this would benefit students from the area who have their own family support infrastructure. This learnership is a structured learning programme that leads to a recognised national qualification. The Carpentry Apprenticeship programme includes a theoretical and a practical component.

Requirements:

Be a minimum age of 17 years old, (Up to 35 years old)
Enjoy working with hands,
Be a neat and accurate worker,
Be able to measure and calculate accurately,
Have a genuine interest in woodwork and interest in pursuing a career in the construction and finishing carpentry industry,
Enjoy working with others,
Excellent health and strength;
Minumum Grade 10 high school certificate or N1
Preferably Grade 12 (with Maths and Science) or any technical trade theory (N2 and above)
Drivers license desireable but not essential
