Guest Relations Officer – Hotel

The focus of this position is to support and maintain the front office service operations to increase revenue, through the provision of quality customer service, products and services, and visitor experiences.

Each front office team member is required to deliver quality customer service by identifying and satisfying customer expectations, and to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Team members are required to be committed to continuous improvement and best practice in services and experiences to enhance visitation.

Key outcomes will ensure assisting in the effective delivery of venue and tour booking services; Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs; events; reception services; retail acquisition, sales and display; exhibitions; facilities and operations; and other support duties as required.

The successful candidate will possess:

Willingness to work on a roster, including weekend and public holiday work as required.
Qualifications and or proven experience in retail, tourism or a customer service industry commercial environment with proven customer service abilities.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and networks and interact in a positive manner with all levels of staff, including suppliers, public and Government bodies and the ability to actively contribute to and support a small but busy team environment.

R 15000 per month plus benefits and incentives.
