Our client are seeking an experienced Storeperson for a Permanent Full-Time position based at their Benoni office. We require an individual that has a ‘hands on’ approach, energy and motivation to deliver with a team orientated outlook.
Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, the successful candidate will have excellent communication, numeracy and interpersonal skills; take initiative, be flexible, have good attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously and adapt to changes.
In addition to this, the successful candidate will have:
Previous experience with inbound and outbound goods;
A Forklift License;
Current Driver’s License;
Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite);
Experience with the preparation of purchase orders and liaising with suppliers.
Your daily duties would involve:
Responsibility for the daily operation of the storehouse;
Management of stock including receipt and dispatch;
Maintaining accurate records and preparation of paperwork;
Arrangement of freight/shipping quotes;
Conducting quarterly stocktakes.
R 13000 per month plus benefits
